Following a course of ski lessons at the Calshot indoor dry slope It was time to take to the real snow.

For our first trip we selected Saalbach in Austria mainly because it had an extensive amount of runs and didn’t appear to be likely to suffer from the yo yo skiing repeatedly going up and down the same runs.

For the first week we had lessons with a very young, but excellent, instructor. The dry slope definitely paid off as snow turned out to be much easier and more forgiving.
